A lot of people seem to be asking on the net (as I did myself) about IOMega's fantastic ZIP Drive, a 100MB removable-media drive costing around $150, and $15 to $20 for blank 100MB disks. So I figured I'd share my experiences and information on using them on the Amiga, and now, on my BeBox!

    Finally added information on formatting Zip disks for the BeOS!

    Added another SCSI controller to the list (Thanks to Terry Fry!) and also stuck a note in the Formatting section about the internal version of the Zip drive and it's device numbers.

    Added/updated the software page to include new versions and additional new tools that might be of use to Zip drive users. Also updated the Formatting page to include some new SCSI device names (Thanks to Brad Rogers and David Ceulemans for their contributions!)

    The hit-counter got reset because of the page moving to a new home..bummer. RDPrep was also added to the software section.

  • 30-Dec-96

    Spanking new design for the Amiga Zip homepage to ring in the new year! This is a direct result of my having far too much free time on my hands one weekend.

    The FAQ has been expanded and the software section now have Aminet links - some people were having trouble downloading the versions direct off the website.
